While evolution has produced a seemingly well-oiled machine in the human body, a range of diseases still afflict us. Explore the biology of genetic, infectious, classical and contemporary diseases within this course. As we tackle different classes of diseases, we will also discuss the ethical and moral implications of testing, prevention and treatment of disease. This project based course will seek to apply knowledge to solve real world problems.
