This course synthesizes and expands students’ understanding of geometrical and algebraic concepts while preparing them for the study of calculus. Topics covered include linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, radical, polynomial, and rational functions, analytic geometry and graphing techniques, trigonometric functions, matrices and vectors, polar functions, and arithmetic of complex numbers. Students will also be introduced to foundational calculus concepts such as limits, derivatives, and integrals.
Note: Summer Intensives are accelerated yearlong courses offered over summer. Students in these courses should expect significantly increased workloads.
