This course may function as an independent semester credit or as the second half of a yearlong Biology sequence. In Biology:Foundations, students investigate the scientific study of living organisms and vital processes. Major topics include the properties of living organisms, biochemistry and cellular processes, reproduction and genetics. Students engage with the material through a blend of live online instruction, self-guided study, collaborative group work, and hands-on labs.
