Biology Acceleration

In this course, students investigate the scientific study of living organisms and vital processes. Major topics include the properties of living organisms, biochemistry and cellular processes, reproduction and genetics, variation, selection and evolution, ecology, classification of organisms, plant and animal phylum, and human biological systems. Students engage with the material through a blend of live online instruction, self-guided study, collaborative group work, and hands-on labs.
NOTE: Acceleration Courses advance through one full year level over a single summer. Students should be prepared for a fast-moving experience with a significant workload.
