Arabic is the fifth most popular language in the world, with major centers in North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. In this course, students will learn the basics of the Arabic language as they explore the history and culture of the Arabic world. Every week, hands-on (and delicious!) cooking projects will bring the subject to life, as students “visit” Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the diaspora, and beyond.
