This course is the equivalent of a college-level introductory United States History course. We will explore the figures, processes, and events that contributed to the development of the United States. Over the year, students will develop the foundational skills needed to analyze primary and secondary documents, develop historical arguments, make historical connections, and reason about comparison, causation, continuity, and change. On successful completion of this course, students will be prepared to sit the AP United States History exam.
