NOTE: This is an hybrid version of Algebra 2 Acceleration designed to accommodate students with limited availability for multiple weeks of the standard Summer 2022 term. It includes an extended timeframe and 1:1 student-teacher meetings outside of the regular calendar.
This course builds on the concepts and skills students mastered in Algebra 1 and Geometry. Topics covered include linear functions, systems of equations, advanced polynomials, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratics, and trigonometric functions. It also introduces matrices and their properties, probability, and statistics. Students will apply their understanding to practical situations and learn problem-solving techniques.
NOTE: Acceleration Courses advance through one full year level over a single summer. Students should be prepared for a fast-moving experience with a significant workload.
